Religion Field Trip

The 7th grade we went on a Field Trip. We went to the Mosque, Chinese Temple, and the Hindu Temple. These three temples are similar because in these temples they pray and ask there gods for what they want. There are some things that are different. Like there are different gods each religion has. Also how they pray is different. Like the Hindu religion they have A LOT of gods. What these religions might hold is that they have. Which religion I found interesting was the Chinese religion. Because the Chinese religion has like this red block to keep the spirit's away. Also that they have these candles, burn it, go to these huge pots that have other candles and dust in it then they pu the candles in the pots and while they are putting the candles there they make wishes. Also I like it how they have these prayers for thier family people who died and how they eat and do some of there favorite thing not the favoritet things they like the family person who died.

OPPOSITES!!!!

We choose this photo because in one picture ALL of the leafs are green and the other one ALL of the leafs were brown. They both are opposite from the colors and that if they are alive or dead like the green one is alive and the brown one is dead.

Agree Or Disagree

I agreed with the bottom on that was "It is acceptable to remove a member of a society or group if he or she is thought to be inferior to the others." I choose this because it is actually true that you can remove a member out of the group. Because if he or she interferes to other people then they would be out and not be like listening to the law. So it would be right to take a member out for not listening to the laws and they just like to interferes with other people so they have a reason to remove a member from the group.

What A Good Life Is

A good life is a figure of speech it's not like you have a good life now it's like saying that when you see other people that are being bullied or something you want them to have a good life not being bullied. It also is that if there is a newcomer to your school then you should treat them right not like you should go to them and be like the "Blookes" and what they made John do to Hashim. In that story you should never listen to them if I were John I wouldn't do it and just stand up for me and Hashim. So that is what I think a good life is also that you are making your friend's and family members and you guys should enjoy and have fun together till it last's.

About My Book

The book that I'm reading is The Second Summer Of The Sisterhood By:Ann Brashares. So far when i was reading the book is like the summer before, Carmen, Bridget, Tibby, and Lena share their individual adventures with the Pants collective, creating an engaging, kaleidoscopic narrative of four voices. This summer, Tibby attends a film program in Virginia and Bridget (Bee), whose mother has died, impulsively jets off to Alabama to get reacquainted with her estranged grandmother. Lovely Lena tries to protect herself from the heartbreak of loving her long-distance Greek god boyfriend Kostos, and Carmen deals (poorly) with her mother dating again and having the nerve to borrow the Pants! The Second Summer, while breezy and fun to read, deals seriously with love lost and found, death, and finding the courage to live honestly.
